Color-Logic Certifies Ecofoil Digital™ on Ricoh Pro 7200sx Series Presses
West Chester, Ohio, USA; April 2021— Color-Logic has announced the certification of Ecofoil Digital™—a new substrate currently offered only in Europe--for use on Ricoh Pro 7200sx Series presses with white ink. Describing the certification, Mark Geeves, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing, said: "Ecofoil Digital is an exciting new substrate developed specifically for the digital market. At the moment, Ecofoil Digital is available for the Ricoh Pro 7200sx Series presses in SRA3 260gsm GC1, however additional weights including 300gsm SBS, 300gsm Silk/Gloss, and two Self Adhesives grades are expected in the very near future to service the commercial, packaging. and labels markets. For European printers, Ecofoil Digital provides an economical alternative to traditional metallic substrates and offers the potential opportunity to use the Color-Logic process in a number of applications beyond traditional lithography."
