Color-Logic's Mark Geeves to Speak at IMI Conference

West Chester, OH; August 2018—Mark Geeves, Color-Logic Director of Sales and Marketing, will speak at the forthcoming IMI Inkjet Age of Materials Conference 2018, at the Embassy Suites Chicago--Lombard Oak Brook, September 5-6, 2018. Geeves' talk is entitled All Print Begins With Design–Why Should You Care? and will deal with advances in metallic printing for inkjet and other processes. At the meeting, Geeves will present actual case studies showing how advancements in ink and printing technology enable brands to get to market faster while increasing the shelf presence of products at retail.

Mark Geeves is the Co-Founder of Color-Logic and Touch7, two technologies that have materially advanced the use of metallics and expanded color gamut systems in printing today. With more than 30 years of experience in the measurement and control of color through his work at X-Rite, Color Savvy, GretagMacbeth, and Ciba, Geeves has extensive experience bringing portable and embedded instrumentation and automated measurement devices into the graphic arts, color, and appearance marketplaces. He has served on international committees to advance the use of color measurement in printing and publishing applications, and has worldwide experience developing and implementing color programs in the graphic arts, plastics, automotive and paint markets. As president of BestColor in the Americas, he was involved in making inkjet proofing the standard for the graphic arts marketplace.

Color-Logic Certifies MDV Ultra Silver Substrate for Ricoh Pro C7100 and C7200 Digital Presses

West Chester, OH; August 2018—Color-Logic has certified MDV Ultra Silver substrate for use with the Color-Logic process on Ricoh Pro C7100 and Pro C7200 Series Digital Presses.

Confirming the certification, Color-Logic CTO and Co-Founder Richard Ainge commented: "The MDV Ultra Silver substrate provided excellent test results off the Ricoh Pro C7100 and Pro 7200 Series Digital Presses. Color-Logic Certifies Kernow Substrate for Ricoh Pro C7200x Presses

West Chester, OH; August 2018—Color-Logic has certified KernowPrint Metalik substrate for use with the Color-Logic process on Ricoh Pro C7200 presses. Discussing the certification, Color-Logic CTO and Co-Founder Richard Ainge, said: "Tests of the Kernow Print Metalik substrate with the Color-Logic process on Ricoh Pro C7200 sheetfed presses produced the complete range of Color-Logic metallic colors and provided excellent examples of Color-Logic decorative effects.
